Now That I Found You – Crash

Joe and Bruno’s conversation

Joe: Dude, I’m serious. Britney Spears is way too good for Michael Moniz. That pairing never made sense. The man doesn’t deserve the privilege of even standing in the same room as her.

Bruno: Joe, what the hell are you talking about? Britney’s married life is none of our business.

Joe: It is now. Look at her. Talent for days, still looks incredible, voice that can still stop traffic. And Moniz? Please. She needs someone solid. Someone who actually appreciates her. Someone like you.

Bruno: Me? I’m married, you idiot.

Joe: Exactly. Married to that trifling, hoarding, credit-card-maxing, shopaholic, dark-triad nightmare you call a wife. The woman has seventeen unopened Amazon boxes in the garage, Bruno. Seventeen. Her credit cards are smoking. She buys shoes she never wears and then hides the receipts like she’s running a covert operation. And the emotional manipulation? Classic dark triad. Narcissism, Machiavellianism, and a side of “everything is always your fault.” You deserve better.

Bruno: She’s not that bad—

Joe: She is that bad. You know it. You’ve complained about the hoarding for years. The shopping addiction. The way she twists every argument until you’re the villain. Meanwhile Britney is over there, free, talented, and probably tired of mediocre men. You should marry her. Leave the chaos behind. Start fresh.

Bruno: You’re insane. Britney Spears isn’t just going to drop everything and marry some random guy from our neighborhood.

Joe: Why not? You’re stable. You have a real job. You don’t max out credit cards on limited-edition handbags. You don’t turn the house into a storage unit. And most importantly, you’d treat her right. Imagine waking up to that voice every morning. I’d love to hear Britney singing next door. Imagine the acoustic sessions floating through the open window while I’m mowing the lawn. Heaven.

Bruno: You’re actually visualizing this.

Joe: Damn right I am. You dump the shopaholic, move Britney in, and suddenly our whole block levels up. No more fighting about “why did you buy another pair of boots you already own.” No more credit card bills that look like a small country’s GDP. Just good music, good vibes, and a sister-in-law who can actually sing “Toxic” without sounding like a dying cat.

Bruno: You’re never going to let this go, are you?

Joe: Not until you at least consider it. Britney’s too good for Moniz. You’re too good for your current situation. The math is simple. Make the call. Or at least admit I’m right about the seventeen Amazon boxes.

(Michael Moniz walks up.)

Michael Moniz: Did somebody say my name? Look, I know people talk, but I’ve got a Nobel Prize–winning way of curing Britney Spears’ mental health problems. Proprietary method. Groundbreaking. She’d be fixed in no time if she just listened to me.

Joe: You. Get the fuck out of here. Britney doesn’t need your “Nobel Prize” bullshit. She’s fine. And if you even get close to her with that ice-pick “treatment” of yours, I’m going to shove that ice pick straight down your pee hole. Clear?

Michael Moniz: That’s… graphic. And completely unnecessary. I’m talking about real science here.

Joe: Real science my ass. You’re not touching her. Not with your hands, not with your theories, not with anything. Bruno’s going to marry her, you’re going to stay the hell away, and I’m going to enjoy the free concerts from next door. Now walk.

Bruno: Joe, calm down—

Joe: No. He doesn’t get to crawl out of whatever rock he lives under and act like he’s her savior. Britney’s too good for him. Period. Bruno, you still thinking about those Amazon boxes, or are you ready to upgrade?
